Edit - I wonder if anyone else felt that the newspaper article included in several players' answers, as well as the official answer, was somewhat confusing regarding the number of pallbearers.
The sentence naming the pallbearers lists eight names with military rank, three senators, and three representatives. So were there eight pallbearers, or were there fourteen?
Nobody's first name is indicated. I'm wondering whether, if there were fourteen pallbearers, Rep. Wheeler might have been Confederate Gen. Joe Wheeler, who was serving in the House of Representatives at the time of Wilcox's death.
