With the great many Civil War Sutleries out there today, some of high quality others, not so much... I thought it would be interesting to canvas CWT.

What would YOU like to see sutlers make available for the reenactment community?

Now that Brian and Dan are going to be making Federal issue blankets on a more regular basis, I think everything a reenactor could want is currently being produced. If you can think of it, someone makes it, or could make one on special order.

Personally, I want a Federal issue knit shirt. There's a run currently in the works.

At the high quality events, there are even period sutlers, selling sundries and the like.

It would be nice to have more of the higher quality campaigner gear available at events but much of that stuff is made to order and guys like Brian and Dan don't really ever have anything in stock. @Old Breck I got one of their CS/Civilian blankets they ran from Family Heirloom a little while back and it is fantastic. I'm sure their Federal issue blankets will be as well.

I would like to see Federal Knit Sack Coats available somewhere, as well as a high quality NC Sack Coat. Also some better M1816 Percussion Conversions, perhaps one of the Federal contract rifled versions...
Ditto on the conversion, I've seen a couple nice originals offered lately I almost bit on. Would be cool to use in a parade or living history event.

I'm looking for a new civilian shirt to wear under the sack coat. I have a Wambaugh, White Federal gray issue shirt but boy, that thing is itchy and my other shirt has patches on it.
