The SCV's new museum

I promised myself I wasn't going to wade back into this thread due to the union sewage, but I can't let this one go. :sneaky: There is NO defeated soldier or army in the history of the world that has been held in the reverence of a CS Soldier.

I got the same warning - in the details it was said that the security certificate expired 42 days ago. But as we know the owner of that site, I decided to force it open. Hey, no risk, no fun!

This is something I hadn't thought about. What does this say about us? About the South, and about Americans in general? An interesting discussion in itself.

I find it interesting that the S.C.V. museum is being condemned as "slanted" before it is opened. By the way, the building is well underway with a great deal of the steel framework now up.
I used to be in the SCV, it's "slanted"! You can look at many SCV Camp sites, and read their commentaries, news sections, and get the idea they are still using "The Charge" to cover up issues like slavery they don't want to talk about, they glorify the illegal secession, and war, glorify the rebel, castigate Lincoln and the Union, just like pro Confederate folk do here. Why would their "Museum" be any different?:O o:

All we have is the history of the SCV and it's past denials of history.

Until we see how the museum presents that history, we only have past actions to go by.

Got any pictures or press release? Last pictures posted were of an empty field.
Note also that the building is a headquarters building, Another issue is how much of it is a museum.

I look forward to the sharing of the updates.
I haven't finished the article in Confederate Veteran yet. Earlier this year they were still doing site preparation. Some of the framework is up now. I haven't been on the SCV website in a coupla weeks. Might be some updates there.
