Highlights from today's Civil War reenactment include meeting @Albert Sailhorst and his son...and the fun characters in his camp...,touching an era quilt with my bare hands (!!!), and getting the stink eye from General Lee  .

Both Lee and Jackson are remarkable . Thank you for sharing.
Aren't they though?! I can't wait to post these on Facebook for the guys to see. I didn't get to talk to Jackson, but I did come face to face with Lee. I have to say ~ I was a little thrown.
Wow!! That's professional! Well done!
Thank you, Alan. I discovered today that so far, I do best with close ups and candid portraits. Battle shots are a struggle!

I told everyone in another thread, @LoriAnn is becoming a pro with her camera !
You are too cute. Thank you, 7th.

He's wearing Blue !?! :banghead:

And I thought Albert was a Reb ! :D

:cold: Dang it man!
Ha. :D The event didn't have enough Union artillery, so their group stepped in to help.

Meeting Albert was such a treat for me today. He is so sweet and funny. Meggie got a photo of us together, which I'll post as soon as she edits it. Albert looks awesome in his uniform. I have wild woman hair thanks to the wind.
