An Outstanding Experience!! Tina was like Super Woman, omnipresent and in Top Form! You juggled all the balls like a pro and rolled with the changes. I am truly indebted to your service for meI want to thank Tina , I enjoyed the Muster. It was great meeting you all. I learned a ton. Until next time!
ExcellentWe saw it too
Outstanding! After the visit to the museum, some of us headed back to Crampton's Gap to mark something off my BUCKET LIST.
We had visited on Thursday with the group but didn't hike the newly interpreted trail down into Whipp's ravine. Maryland State Park Ranger Steve Robertson was kind enough to meet us back there today so those who wished to engage in self-inflicted torture could make the hike. Its soooo steep - right down into the bowels of Crampton's Gap.

Below is right about where the 16th Georgia tried to form a line of battle before being over run by the New Jersey brigade commanded by Torbert and Bartlett's New York brigade.

And of course before we left, we had to walk the cornfield where Hoods Texas brigade, commanded by Col William Tatum Wofford (18th GA) fought with so much grit and determination. And it was super special to be able to walk it with my favorite Texan @bdtex

This was my 5th CWT muster. Last night at dinner @NH Civil War Gal said, "There's just something special about these CWT musters....You make friends that last a lifetime." It was a fantastic event and I can't thank @NH Civil War Gal enough for all the hard work she invested to make it such a success. And to the entire team @Stone in the wall James N. Thank you all for such a special time with CWT friends!

Great Job! As a local I know these are not easy to findWe found the crossing of the Potomac ford and the ruins of the cement works on the Potomac.
And discovered what happened to the poor “Corn Exchange” Regiment.
