It's on private property and the last remaining house from the town of Bruinsburg was torn down years ago because the farmer who owns the land didn't want it to collapse on his cows.
Charles has a HUGE investment in both time and money in this museum. Great video, Jeff. Thanks for highlighting this. Vicksburg certainly will benefit from this museum in the telling of her story.
I'm glad somebody with an interest in artifacts from the civil war has deep pockets. It takes a lot to run a successful museum and it looks like he's on the right track.
I faintly remember meeting Jack years ago...I do remember he died back in 2012, I believe. There were several stories about artifacts found and believed to still be there on his land.
