Came across these at a local antique mall. Does anybody know what some of these are?

Some decent stuff there for the price. Could certainly be displayed better. Did you buy? Too bad they don’t list where they were found.
From what I can ID in the right bottom Riker display: a broken shard of ceramic, musket cap, camp fork?, a .58 Minnie Ball in both displays, a broken knapsack hook. Not sure of the rest but someone else here will know. Would be interesting to see the one behind those two.

I didn't buy them yet. I might go back and pick them up. Does anything in there look Confederate? I'm thinking some of that was dug at a Confederate camp.

It may be possible but without knowing if it was a Confederate campsite it will be hard to say for sure. At that price you can’t go wrong. Talk to the shop keeper and see what they know about where they were recovered.

I don't see anything that screams Dixie. In the right case you have a Burnside bullets, knap sack buckle, part of a fork, preclusion cap and pipe stem. The left hand case, broken heel plate, iron object???. 3 ring minnie and iron buckle.

I wouldn't waste my money. Some of these may be just scrap pieces not even found in a CW site. The bullets and broken knapsack hook are period but that's about it. Percussion cap, small lead balls, who knows? Buckles can be any period. 90 % of this would go in my scrap pile.
