For those of us who can't quite afford nice firearm collections or other collectibles, show us your trinkets. Here is a picture of mine.
I also have my Grandfather's pocket watch. It's a Hamilton.Capt. William McClure of the 71st Ohio was my step grandfather's uncle. Grandpa kept a portrait of him taken during the war, shortly after he was promoted to captain hanging on the wall in the living room.
After the war William became an engineer on a railroad and gifted his pocket watch to Grandpa upon his retirement from the railroad.
Both of these items are in my humble collection of family heirlooms.
