Forrest Nathan Bedford Forrest's Revolver

While looking through old issues of Civil War Times, I found this. Thought some might enjoy it.

Can’t help but note that this was the type of weapon he used to kill several of his subordinates. The Forrest was a complex character. Arguably, he killed more opponents & subordinates than any other general in the war with his own hand.

If it's the same shop I'm thinking of (and it sounds like it), I bought a dug 10# Parrott shell from him back in the 1990s. Great guy.
I've bought a few things from Shiloh Relics throughout the years, and I've never been disappointed.

Although it's been a while since I've dealt with them or any other similar company,
I think they have the same integrity and quality service that made Shiloh Relics stand out from the early days.

I glanced at their site about a month ago while looking for a Louisiana "Pelican Button".

I saw nothing to indicate they have changed.

Plus 1 on the above opinion of Rafael Eledge of Shiloh Relics. I've spoken to him over the phone and also at relic shows and he treats people as if they were life long friends. He has achieved no small amount of fame on the Antiques Roadshow over the years, but this seems to have had no affect on the way he treats people. The videos that he does on his website are excellent and very informative. As my Dad used to say: "he is a fine fellow."
