I just am lost for words each time a new photo is put up.
The top worn National flag looks to correct to me ,I suppose the second one could have been made on board, it's stars certainly give a home made appearance. The auxilliary flag I'm not so sure off, perhaps one of our experts could comment, and that battleflag look too new and relatively undamaged. I thought it went down with her anyway. Semmes would almost certainly had the first commissioning pennant aboard, but would a new one have got to him?@Lubliner , @rebelatsea , thank you gentlemen for the appreciation and compliments. There are times that I do hold my breath when I'm working with tweezers in very tight areas cause if you breath you will break a part or pull to tight then knock another part off.
@rebelatsea , so far my research is saying five to six flags for CSS Alabama historically, wondering if you can confirm for me. Any help would be appreciated. Here's the flags:

Excellent. I’m originally from Alabama. The CSS Alabama devastated Union shipping almost singlehandedly until the Kearsarge gave her the deep 6, off the French coast. The Confederate blockade runner CSS Alabama build is starting up, here's a enhanced image of the only known image of the ship during it's life:

The CSS Arkansas is also a 1/96 scale model as with the CSS Alabama 1/96th. Here's a comparison image of them on my dry dock:

There are many excellent blogs on information about the CSS Alabama here on CWT, just do a search and you will find excellent reference material as I have found.
I will be starting with the hull for painting and copper tape work. As the smallest copper tape available is 1/4" wide, there is a definition problem for the hull as the molded lines are 4mm wide. Overlap won't work because of bulky looking hull, so I might have to go with either a good coat of copper paint or 1/4" lines if I decide to use the copper tape.
Members here have built this kit and hopefully will give their expertise to make this one a one of a kind representation as I am doing with the CSS Arkansas. Specialized parts and fittings will be used as with supplied parts from the kit. I might do the "rat lines" by hand knot tie's for a better definition and use real wooden blocks and tackles for details. Stay tuned for updates on the build and will take about 6 months I figure for the build. I should be able to incorporate lights for this one also, I have excellent space and placement areas to work with.
I am in the process of reorganizing my work space for the boom sail installations. Here's a quick update image and will have more later this week.
I spy two of Da Vinci's inventions on the top shelf, and an incomplete Arkansas.Once she's completed I'll put her on one of my shelves. Which i'll have to adjust for the height and width of this one.

I spy 12 inch pine shelving of good grade, unstained, with brackets from the local hardware store. I'm not sure about the paneling; could be elm, or alder wood; probably the latter.I spy two of Da Vinci's inventions on the top shelf, and an incomplete Arkansas.
Ha, sometimes even if I breath wrong I break something on this model. Please be very careful. You mustn't break anything!!
Lubliner.
Yep, I'm busted it's an old picture. I'll make sure I post the final location image updated shelves.I spy two of Da Vinci's inventions on the top shelf, and an incomplete Arkansas.
