Its on the bottom of this and I'm trying figure out what the # UCV 7 means. I know what the UCV means but the other is a mystery so I thing the photo is the key.

I suspect your photo was of the original clay sculpture for the statue--a selling point for your item. We just got our Earl Rudder statue up this summer, and that's why I happened to think--plus I hung out with cowboy artists for years, so once my mind caught up to what I was seeing, I Googled.

Teeny-tiny waists!
Quite unlike mine. :banghead:

Our newspaper editor got to place a tiny piece of clay beside Rudder's boot before the bronze process was done. Lordy, you'd think he'd done the entire sculpture (I will say, he worked for years to make it reality--as did others).

During WWII my dad was island hopping with the USMC. He didn't tell many stories about European battles. I had to look up General Rudder. Thanks for the post and photo!

16th President of Texas A&M. He lived in Brady several times during his life--coached football here, was Mayor, family owned a drug store. But all Aggies revere his name. I do because while he was President, he actively worked to have women and African Americans admitted. Smart man! https://www.tamu.edu/about/history.html
