Calling @ucvrelics !Hello everyone! I am new to the forum and collecting CW relics so I could use your assistance in identifying these cartridge boxes, percussion cap boxes, holster, wooden hammer made by a CW veteran, etc. I know that the the nicest cartridge box with a oval US plate is a Dixie Gun Works reproduction, but I believe that everything else could be original. Any information about these items as well as good reference material that could help me out with this stuff would be greatly appreciated.

Great Piece. Double check that name or spelling as he does not show up in the CS data base. I love items like this especially with a name. Here is one in my collection but its a gavel. These are the best I could get of the markings on it. It says " made by John Clanders Company H, 19 Inft. Tenn. Soldier's Home Hermitage, Tenn.

You might be onto something there. That could very well be a period after the "C". Good eye.Maybe try searching John C. (or G.) Landers?
