Here is the flag of the UCV Scott Statham Camp, Winona Miss. This is a very rare flag with a fantastic history. The camp is named in honor of Gen. Scott Statham of the 15th Miss Inf who died at Vicksburg. According to newspaper articles and one in the Confederate Veterans magazine, this flag was made by Mrs. P. S. Dudley who was the General's sister and was presented to the camp with much fanfare in July of 1901. This flag is massive measuring 30 x 60 without the frame. I want to give a BIG THANKS to our own @lelliott19 who found the newspaper articles for me.

Sounds absolutely frolicking. Do you have your mind on something/someone particularly?
Lubliner.

We agree !

What say you @ucvrelics ?
Surely you could fire your Lost Cause cannon for a CWT group ?

Perhaps some Alabama BBQ on the side as well ?
We'll pay for such a gathering !

:smoke:
I will have the "Lost Cause" cannon and a bunch of my items to include the flag over at the CW Show in Brandon June 8 & 9.

Where in Brandon is the Show? It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive so I might get a chance to drop by with my 15 year old grandson still wanting to drive all over America!
Regards
David

I don't know about the running naked through the MOC part, but if I had 5 minutes I would grab the U.S. Navy blanket that came from the Cumberland, and all the C.S.N. artifacts I could get me hands on...:D:wink::sabre:

According to reports Ive read Col. Statham died of something called the Hot Fever? Is promotion to Brig Gen had been approved 2 days before he died and wasn't aware of it at the time of his death.
