Forrest Who would play Forrest in a movie?

That was the finding of the fourth inquest in 2012.

I love using the dingo line in a terrible fake Australian accent on my cousin who lives in Queensland. Based on her facial expression, she enjoys the experience much less than I do. :sneaky:

But to hear Meryl Streep screaming on film, in an 'OK' Aussie accent . . . priceless.

:bounce:

Still hope she can one day replicate a Mary Ann Forrest Southern drawl.

:smoke:
In the news down here today … a dingo took a 14 month old from a trailer (or caravan in our terminology). The poor kid has a fractured skull and cuts. The dad saw the dingo dragging the boy and chased the dingoes away (there was more than one).

I hadn't realized it was a recurring problem, but it makes sense.

Come to think of it, you're right.

It was a fake Australian accent.
But I'll give her credit . . . she tried.

I still would like to see Ms Streep attempt a Deep South USA accent.

I'd be interested in seeing what she did with a Deep South one.
But I was referencing my version of an Australian accent (when I torture my cousin cruelly) as what is very fake . . . and, apparently, ear-punishing. :bounce:

We have the same issues with many Pit Bulls up here . . . not all owners, but the idiots that breed the poor dogs to fight let the animals run wild when they're through with em'.

It's never a pretty ending.

I doubt Forrest would have permitted such.

Ding! Warning - Forrest tidbit! He had a much loved pack of excellent hunting dogs that he'd maintained and trained from the time he was a kid. Several types - bird dogs, hounds, little ol' beagles, depending on what he was going to hunt. They were moved to his mother's plantation above Memphis but were killed by Union soldiers. :frown: War just ain't happy. He never went in for the common sports of the day involving animal cruelty, like cock fighting. Druther bet on the ponies!

Think Clint kind of did play Forrest in Josey Wales - always thought his character was a nod to Forrest in many ways. (Clint is also a south paw who taught himself to be ambidextrous!)
I think your'e right.

Plus, I'm pretty sure that Bedford would have figured out how to operate a Gatling Gun in less than a minute.

Clint's a lefty?! I had never actually noticed that, though it has been awhile since I saw in him anything. I'm also a lefty who had right-handedness selectively forced on me, so I usually notice these things. :bounce:
