This is a quick dialog summary of one of the stories we heard on our tours, but in recreated/fantasy humorous text-message format. Text message conversations that might have been exchanged between participants if they had text capabilities. All in good fun.

Having dinner at TGI Fridays in the Atlanta airport right now. My only regret is not having any Tennessee barbecue while we were there. Didn't give myself enough time today. Even though I have already been to Chattanooga Confederate Cemetery in June 2016,I couldn't resist going back again. Some of my pictures on the first trip didn't turn out good and I wanted to go back for a do-over.

A big thank you once again to @ucvrelics.com for bringing and unlimbering the "Lost Cause" in the hotel lobby. Nice touch. Also thanks for the gifts you made to each of the attendees. Can't tell you enough how much I personally appreciate it. I will treasure it. The relic gift you gave to the Assistant Manager of the hotel was a very nice touch too. It spoke well for you,our group and CivilWarTalk.com.

I second that! @ucvrelics.com Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! The cannon in the lobby was a great addition to the welcome for participants and I saw several kids and adults not in our group checking it out too! I know all the participants will enjoy their minnie ball displays as a treasured memento of their time at Chickamauga with new (and old) friends. I have to admit, I was really surprised at the display you brought along for the hotel. For those who didnt see it, it was a nice display with an assortment of US and CS relics including a union minnie, a CS Enfield, a CS smooth coat button, a US staff officer button, a couple of other bullets (ucv will have to ID) all in a 5x8 Riker case with a label that said "CivilWarTalk October 2018 Thanks for all your support." It was REALLY nice! Thank you again for your generosity!

I add my thinks.

Made it home at 11:30pm. Pretty whooped tonight and tomorrow is gonna be a long day but my cup is full. Can't wait to download all the pics from my camera. It will soon be time to start an after action reports thread.

Just got home and I had a blast, Even with me being unable to walk this morning due to me over doing it yesterday I really enjoyed meeting everyone and the tour of the park yesterday enable me to see parts of the park I had never see in the day time.:D I really want to THANK Bd, Laura and everyone for a job well done.
Ah yes, touring the Park at night in pursuit of your other passion; bat and nocturnal animal observations.

I was so tired when I saw that last night, the humor went right over my head. You're killing me. :D "sur prz" ... "TopHat" Lol!

Not that it was bad to begin with, but my attitude about life in general is much improved this morning. I was 45 minutes into Houston traffic this morning before I said my first cuss word or experienced the slightest concern about my ETA. That might not seem like much to y'all but that is huge for me on a Monday morning in Houston traffic heading downtown. The only reason for the slightest concern about the ETA was the need for a "DNA deposit". :D

Edit to add. Didn't say any more cuss words after that. I am working on that.

Today is the first time I have had a chance to look at our pictures that we posted on the fly on a large screen monitor. Dang if we weren't a good looking group. :D
