I just received, today, @Albert Sailhorst's book, "Voices From The Kitchen." It is really wonderful! What an amazing job you did Albert! I think I can manage the boiled parsnips and they are all very interesting to read. I've been spending the past 3 hours going through this book and love it.
I'm very struck with just how much time everything took to prepare if you were going to eat well. Nothing was simple, nothing.
