I'm sure the men will be watching this too! LOL
Enjoy Izabela Pitcher's channel priorattire. She is a costume historian, reenactor and her videos are very informative. She's got a great one wearing a corset performing sports even ice skating at a public rink only in her underpinnings! Her husband is a reenactor as well. She also ships her custom made attire to the US- Enjoy:

"You've come a long way, Baby!"

It is a very classy look

Definitely, it beats modern fashion hands down. Women looked, well.... like women back then, beautiful.

There's just something about a hoop skirt, man. I mean, bikinis and yoga pants are great, but one of my favorite parts of living and working in Gettysburg was seeing the living historians rock those dresses. Just made my heart skip a beat.

Well since you brought it up... a old fella in my unit, a farm boy too boot told me. They had a two cob cribs. One held white cobs the other red. (Much more red) you would use two red cobs then a white..... to see if you needed any more white ones!!! Mabey this is a Nebraska 1930’s farm kid story!? Lol !? I’m sure the armies didn’t have huge wagon trains of red and white corn cobs!!!! Lol
Might be in the "more than I really wanted to know" category but interesting. I now am obsessed in knowing how the men dealt with such necessities in the field given the scarcity of paper. Oh, what a CW fanatic will contemplate.
