Duty-Honor-Valor: The Story of the 11th Mississippi Regiment by Steven H. Stubbs. Does anyone know if this book can still be ordered, from what II'm assuming is the author's site? All you can do is print an order form and send in a check or money order so I would love to know if it is indeed still available before I sent in the order. Tried emailing but no luck in that.

Thanks,

I heard from the author, he had around 100 left. You send in a check or money order by mail. Have not gotten a copy yet, hope to in about a week or two.

Hi James, did you ever receive your response/copy of the book? My dad is looking for it and I would really like to order it for him for Christmas - better late than never. But thought I would check before I sent the order form and told Dad it was on its way! Thanks! Jen

Sad to say, no I have not ordered it yet. Soon after my original post, my mom ended up in the hospital for five months, and she is just now getting back to normal, but I hope to order this very soon when SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed - Wife) lets me know I can.

I used the link in the webpage and emailed twice; and have not heard back. I'm kind of hesitant of sending $80 check in the mail without response. Was the last time you heard from the author in January? Did you email the email link on the page you posted? Sorry to ask so many questions - just really want to do this for my dad!

How nice to purchase something so special for your dad. Did you try the phone number from the website? 601.656.5309

Thank you! My dad is amazing and his knowledge of the war is incredible. I love his passion and really wanted to do this for him. I did try the number - it is disconnected.

I got my copy autographed back in 2000 when he was visiting Square Books here in Oxford. I highly recommend this book if you have family that served in the 11th Mississippi as there a short synopsis of each enlistee as well as a chapter for each company.
It is well written and covers all engagements that the 11th was in. The author Steven Stubbs is a very nice man

David
