Favorite Hair Contest. McCarter on top! CWT winner is...

My birthday is coming up in December. I fully expect a love song from my favorite general. Of course it will be channeled through you, Adam. You have become my Longstreet whisperer.
Consider it done! December? Me too! When's your birthday??

I am currently picturing Pete in a loose fitting, Spanish peasant shirt, playing guitar whilst dancing a bold, rather sassy, dance in your honor. @LoriAnn and I may need to work some Photoshop skullduggery.

December 30. When is yours? I should have known you were a Capricorn!

We were born just in time to be tax exemptions! At least that's what my Dad said about me. And you're right. We are Candycorns. I actually love this candy. I mean it is fat free after all!
This is awesome....one more great thing to admire about you, my friend!

I've always loved candy corn. I don't know why people are so down on it.

Capricorns. :cloud9: My baby is one.

Speaking of photoshop, I made a little something in honor of this thread. General McGaga, waiting to accept my award on my behalf:

Okay, I’m no astrologer, but I do think it can be fun to dabble just a little. So, I immediately checked to see if our two signs are compatible for a lasting friendship. The answer is yes. Obviously. Otherwise I would not be making this post.

Turns out these two signs admire one another’s dedication and strength and have a good bit in common. They are both dependable and realistic. I think we’re the latter most of the time, but we all three tend to veer off the path from time to time.:spin:

Supposedly both signs enjoy a lavish and comfortable life and are willing to make the effort to achieve this. Lavish? I certainly aspire to it, but charm can only get a belle so far and I am retired.

A Taurus admires Capricorn’s perseverance and a Capricorn admires Taurus’ stability. I guess that means Adam and I will keep on posting and you, Lori Ann, are going to have to keep on giving us likes. Apparently we need that constant in our on-line lives. I mean if the stars say it, it must be true.

Yes. I had an adult beverage before dinner.:O o:

This will make you giggle, but I'm woo woo enough about the stars to have already known that. :D If astrology has any bit of truth to it, my kids and I are perfectly matched: Taurean Mama with Cancer and Capricorn babies.

My husband and I, however, are poorly matched: Taurus and Gemini  Again, if the stars have any influence whatsoever, this means my Gemini sticks with me only because he needs something dependable and stable. How romantic.

I think it's fun to read about too. I don't take it seriously enough to work it into my life or help me make decisions, but I get a kick out of reading personality traits and comparing what's predicted to what's been my experience. I have many, many things in common with the average Taurean description. Very likely a coincidence, but it's entertaining.

This is so perfect, I can add nothing. Yes, and yes.

McCarter's probably looking down, wondering why he never looked that fabu in real life. Poor guy - he had to wait over 150 years for the remake of his life.

So it turns out that when Colonel McCarter of the 93rd Pennsylvania Infantry had his portrait made, the photographer took at least three images of him. That's not unusual, but McCarter kept virtually the same pose in each shot. By combining two of these images, it's possible to recreate McCarter in 3D stereo for red/cyan glasses.
