Heading to Vicksburg tomorrow.

Before I left for my trip,I bought a 2 year subscription to Blue & Gray Magazine and ordered the back issues on Chickasaw Bayou/Vicksburg and Champion Hill/Big Black Bridge. They came in the mail today. Oh man! They're awesome. Right when I'm trying to finish a book about Shiloh too. I'm gonna be up late tonight. :D

Pace yourself. Don't need you to fall into a CW induced coma. :bounce:

Those magazines are really good, though.

Hey, I don't have that one yet. Let me know how it is, maps, etc. Did Winchell write that one?
It was written by Lawrence Lee Hewitt and the maps are awesome. Gonna read it tonight. Leaving bright and early Thursday morning on another trip to Port Hudson.

Sounds like you've rapidly graduated from the relatively basic maps of Wilbur Nye to the more detailed Blue & Gray ones!
