@War Horse, please count me in as a definite YES!
My sister might also come -- hopefully I can let you know what she decides in the very near future.
That's awesome news KF. I just returned the contract with the bus company and paid the deposit today. The bus will pick us up in the parking lot next door to the 1863 Hotel of Gettysburg where we have a block of rooms reserved under the name Civilwartalk. Welcome aboard!

Can't wait to meet all you guys! Eric is the only one I've had the privilege to meet so far, and I can sure vouch to everyone who might be thinking about going that he is one marvelously engaging speaker and teacher.

Do I need to call the hotel and reserve my own room or are you going to wait until you have a full list and then reserve them all at once? I'm asking because my sister and I might arrive there a couple of days beforehand.

Thank you, ma'am. Much obliged.

I look forward to seeing you again.

We will be making them individually. To get the group rate you have to call the hotel and tell them you are with the group CivilWarTalk. I would suggest call asap. I have just added three to the group. It looks like numbers will not be a problem at this point. BTW, I agree with you, it's going to be a fascinating day.

Good news everyone @Tom Elmore and @KansasFreestater will be joining us on our bus tour to Williamsport. We are off to a very good start.

Remember, please pm me with your commitment to join us as well as the names of any guests that will be joining you. We have a large bus and are already getting close to half capacity. Once we reach the magic number the math will work and we can make a final per person cost and take care of the tour bus company.

That's only day one. We have battlefield tours to schedule and other fun events to plan.

This is sounding like a "hoot" of a good time! Only problem is I get Horribly car sick... so seat me next to @pamc153PA! She will put up with me!

Got to think about. Done it 3 times with Eric already. One more won't hurt. I will wait a little longer and see how it goes here.

I was going to say--I remember that you'd been along with me at least once when we did this tour, Marshall. I can tell you that there will be a stop on this one that you probably haven't had previously, which is at the Donnelly house on Falling Waters Road, where Pettigrew fell.

By the way, other than my long-suffering wife Susan, I can't think of anyone who's been on that tour with me more than three times.
