This about covers the past couple of decades that I have good photos for, but I visited more sites in the East like Fredericksburg-Chancellorsville-Wilderness-Spotsylvania; sites around Richmond; Forts Sumter and Marion; and Appomattox and Durham Station, all beginning in 1961 during the Centennial through the rest of the century.

My list is a little different. I'm keeping track of the sites where I've done living history and spent the night - sleeping on the battlefield is important to me - weird I know - but important nonetheless.

I went to Bennett Place on my way to Sailor's Creek last month. Don't get your hopes up too much. Not a lot going on and the museum was under renovation.
I'd certainly visit though just to offer support to State Parks.

The museum reopens today, Chattahooch.

The problem is that the Bennett Place site is only four acres, unlike Appomattox. Nevertheless, it's well worth a visit. I'll be speaking there twice tomorrow as part of the 150th commemoration.

Thank you for the update!

Do you have a date for your Cincinnati Civil War Round Table speaking presentation, Eric?
