I just completed a brief survey on the Georgia brigade of General William T. Wofford which included the 16th Ga, 18th Ga, 24th Ga, Cobb's Legion, Philip's Legion, and the 3rd Battalion Ga Sharpshooters.

I had a handful of ancestors in the brigade so I thought this would help me research and remember their actions. The first page talks about them then the next 5 follows the brigade through the war.

I very much enjoyed reading the information you compiled in this survey. Your website is a fitting tribute to our Confederate ancestors. I am descended from a veteran of the 24th G. Company C., Pvt. Evans Calloway (EC) Jackson. He was one of the handful of survivors in Company C to be surrendered and paroled at Appomattox.
