Well, it was a pretty quiet and cold day at Gettysburg. I spent much of the day on the battlefield by myself, me and the animals. Feral cat prints on the old electric trolley path in the Slaughter Pen . . .

Just me at LRT (and not many others, judging by the footprints in the snow from a couple days ago).

The snow made it very picturesque (12th and 44th NY monument on LRT). . .

Beautiful, I'd love to spend a Christmas in Gettysburg.

I usually go in late August, most of the tourists are gone by then and the field is pretty quiet....lots of places to be alone out there, especially around 6:30 am.....it's a different field at that time of day.

Nothing like having the place to yourself, you are lucky to live so close.

Pam,
Thanks for the wonderfully captured scenes of Gettysburg. Always looking forward to your photo-posts as they never fail to capture my attention. Study them each. Love the "fresh" viewpoints and angles you find. Thanks again.

I bet it was quiet that day!

That's uncalled for. Today's CWT mini muster at Manassas was rescheduled due the weatherman's COMPLETELY WRONG forecast, but we'll do it in March. Can't wait to post pictures .... :D
I wouldn't have been able to attend, but I had no idea that a CWT mini muster had been scheduled for this past Saturday. For that matter, I don't think I've ever been aware of any CWT mini musters being scheduled.

Is there a particular place on the forums where notices about such musters are posted?
