Here are a few then and nows that I took yesterday at Gettysburg. As you can tell from my shots, the weather was just perfect! The first and last photos I actually took because I was looking for witness trees.

96th PA infantry monument, Valley of Death near Plum Run, 1905.

40th NY monument in Plum Run Valley, with Tipton photography studio behind it. If you look closely at the studio, you will see Trough Rock to the left of it (the higher, triangular rock). Also notice there is a large boulder hiding part of the studio, next to the trolley tracks which run through the middle of the picture. The boulder was moved sometime after the picture, probably in the building of Warren Avenue.
