This stencil was once owned by a Union soldier, "Geo. Adams Co. A 7th Md. V."
of course George Adams Co. A 7th Maryland Volunteers.
He served there from August 8, 1862 until May 31, 1865, and
this unit served late in the war with the Maryland Brigade in the
Army of the Potomac.

[I have not posted for some time because I have had a couple of operations,
but I am now getting better fast and wish the best to all here, both Rebs
and Yanks]

Cool relic. Thanks for sharing it. So glad to see you back and wishing you a speedy and complete recovery!

You are all so kind. Thank you.
This is a great place to learn.
I set up at a recent CW show, and saw and liked this piece because it was from my home state.
I do not usually buy at these shows only because the items for sale are generally
expensive and I can do better if I look around for other sources. The selling was OK.

Best to each of you!
