Great find !

One question though . . . what's a false bottom in a pot ? Is that like a double boiler ?

I think its a little different from the Google search I conducted, not unless the item they refer to is antiquated term for a double boiler. However, the false bottom in a pot is this item - it kind of reminds me of the plate you drop in the bottom of a pressure cooker. I think its used for steaming. Other false bottoms online appear to be used in beer making though.
