Who was the last surviving general of the CSA?

credit: @War Horse

Bonus:
Johnny Mercer 18 November 1909 - 25 June 1976 was an American lyricist, song writer and singer. He was also the founder of 'Capitol Records'. What was his relationship to the Civil War?

The last surviving Confederate general was Brig.Gen. John McCausland, who died on 22 Jan 1927 at age 91. Felix H. Robertson, who was appointed B.G. in 1864, who served at such, but whose nomination was
rejected by the CSA Senate in 1865, died on 20 Apr 1928 at age 89.

In reference to Johnny Mercer..... His great-grandfather was Confederate General Hugh Weedon Mercer

Felix Huston Robertson (March 9, 1839 – April 20, 1928)
*******************************************************************
Bonus: his mother Lillian (George Mercer’s the prominent attorney and real estate developer's secretary and then second wife) father was a merchant seaman who ran the Union blockade during the U.S. Civil War. And his great-grandfather was Confederate General Hugh Weedon Mercer.

1) John McCausland. January 22, 1927
2) materal grandfather confederate blockade runner; gf confederate general Hugh Weedon Mercer; also decended from Hugh Mercer, killed at princeton ARW and also distantly related to Gen. George Patton

Edit - I have to interpret "gf" as standing for "grandfather," and that isn't correct. Hugh Weedon Mercer was Johnny's great-grandfather.

I usually don't take off for typographical errors, but when the error is such as to change the meaning of the response, then I can't give credit for a correct response. Although you may have intended to type "ggf," which I would have interpreted as "great-grandfather," I can't assume that that was your intent.

Mercer was born in Savannah, Georgia. His father, George Anderson Mercer, was a prominent attorney and real estate developer, and his mother, Lillian Elizabeth (née Ciucevich), George Mercer’s secretary and then second wife, was the daughter of a Croatian immigrant father and a mother with Irish ancestry. Lillian's father was a merchant seaman who ran the Union blockade during the U.S. Civil War. Mercer was George's fourth son, first by Lillian. His great-grandfather was Confederate General Hugh Weedon Mercer and he was a direct descendant of American Revolutionary War General Hugh Mercer, a Scottish soldier-physician who died at the Battle of Princeton. Mercer was also a distant cousin of General George S. Patton.

Edit - No answer given for main question.

Bonus:
Johnny Mercer? I think he played quarterback for ten minutes for the Cleveland Browns? Oh... well, he'd have been a better choice, even now. No, his grandfather George Anderson Mercer Sr.... held the rank of colonel in the Confederate army.

There is a story that Mercer's maternal grandfather, John Ciucevich, was a blockade runner during the War of the Rebellion, found here: Johnny Mercer: Southern Songwriter for the World

Seems that two men may claim that title ... now the detail becomes important.
My answer is John McCausland. Robertson lived longer, but apparently his nomination had been revoked, so he served as general for a certain time but did not actually hold that rank when the war ended. The question does not ask for one who served as general but who actually was a general, and that is MacCausland IMHO.

Bonus:
He has a double relationship :
His maternal grandfather "was a merchant seaman who ran the Union blockade during the U.S. Civil War.[2] Mercer was George's fourth son, first by Lillian. His great-grandfather was Confederate General Hugh Weedon Mercer"
From the Wikipedia article about Mercer

Last surviving CSA general was Simon Bolivar Buckner.

Bonus: Johnny Mercer's great-grandfather was Confederate General Hugh Weedon Mercer.

Edit - Buckner was the last surviving Lieutenant General, but the question asked for the last surviving general, which encompasses every rank of general from brigadier on up.

Bonus: His father-in-law was a merchant seaman who ran the Union Blockade.

Edit - Mercer's father-in-law was a man named Joseph Meltzer, father of Mercer's wife, Elizbeth Meltzer (Ginger Meehan) Mercer. I can find no record that Joseph Meltzer was a seaman who ran the blockade.

Brig. General John McCausland. (Felix H. Robertson lived a bit longer, but his nomination for Brig. Gen. was rejected by the CSA Senate in 1865). /// BONUS: Twofold: Mercer's maternal grandfather was a merchant seaman who ran the Union blockade...and, his great-grandfather was Confederate General Hugh Weedon Mercer.
