Oconee Hill Cemetery is a cemetery in Athens, Georgia, United States. The extant cemetery opened in 1856 and is located near the University of Georgia.[1] Stanford Stadium

Edit - I usually don't mark off for misspellings unless they really change the meaning.

In this case, it's a bit of a close call, since there actually is a Stanford Stadium, but it is located at Stanford University in California, not at the University of Georgia.

However, my guess is that if you were to go to Athens and ask how to get to Stanford Stadium, they might look at you a little funny but they would probably point you in the right direction. So I will give credit for this answer.

Aha! I missed the answer to this question a while back, but at least this version wants a "college sports building" instead of just an "edifice"! It's the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium.

From my non-answer back in September: "Nor (as a distraction) could I find that Ty Cobb the baseball player was descended from TRR Cobb--seems to be a quite different branch of the Cobb family. (http://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Cobb-Family-Tree-3844 and http://cobbandcobbs.com/ty/tycobb.htm)"

He is buried (along with his brother) at Oconee Hill Cemetery, a short walk from the 100,000 seat University of Georgia Bulldog football stadium in Athens, GA.
