I believe we had a similar question not so long ago, but the earlier question allowed for interpretations that produced a variety of non-sports-related answers. This one is worded so that non-sports-related answers will clearly be incorrect.
Edit - I usually don't mark off for misspellings unless they really change the meaning.
In this case, it's a bit of a close call, since there actually is a Stanford Stadium, but it is located at Stanford University in California, not at the University of Georgia.
However, my guess is that if you were to go to Athens and ask how to get to Stanford Stadium, they might look at you a little funny but they would probably point you in the right direction. So I will give credit for this answer.
Aha! I missed the answer to this question a while back, but at least this version wants a "college sports building" instead of just an "edifice"! It's the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium.
He is buried (along with his brother) at Oconee Hill Cemetery, a short walk from the 100,000 seat University of Georgia Bulldog football stadium in Athens, GA.
