It covers the last sixteen months of the war from Dalton to Greensboro, NC and the final surrender.

If you have any interest in the Army of Tennessee, Cheatham's division, the 8th, 16th or 28th Tennessee regiments, this volume is for you.

It includes the narrative of their actions told through many of their own words, several maps and images and in depth appendices in the back.

The appendices include Command Organization throughout each campaign, all clothing, arms and equipment issued by month for the entire year of 1864, casualties by battle or engagement, and visual charts and graphs that show effective strengths versus losses per battle or engagement.

This is the end of a 25 year endeavor that may be followed by one additional volume that is a by name roster of men in the unit.

Check it out please!

Congratulations from me, as well. People like you keep our country from losing it's history.
