Right here.
Tomorrow starts three full days of programs on the battlefield. I'm planning to do the battle walks for all three days, which is a total of nine battle walks.

Those of you not able to attend can attend virtually, as twelve programs will be live streamed at the GNMP's Facebook page and at their Periscope page.

Programs begin at 9AM EDT each day.

You can see the full schedule of programs here:

I do stuff like that every year.

Don't bug me, I'm lifting weights <says the hyper-competitive alter ego>

I hope that there will be pictures and blog notes for all nine walks.

If you go on one of Troy Harman's walks, your day could turn into a marathon. Over the years I have been on many of those walks and I always learn something new. Scott Hartwig's walks in particular were always a highlight.

For those people that get PCN (Pennsylvania Cable Network), they are airing past shows each day, then in the evening they will show the just completed walk. Most Christmas weeks, they will rebroadcast the shows as well.

I always have my Maps of Gettysburg book out for reference as I am watching the show. You can also buy these programs as well. I for one can never get enough of anything Gettysburg.

By the way, if streaming the battle walks and other battlefield programs isn't for you, you can see Sunday's lectures in the Sacred Trust Book Talks here: http://www.gettysburgfoundation.org/236

I'm thinking that I've seen Pickett's Charge enough, so if you do you'll probably see the familiar back of someone's head in the front row.

By the way, I was able to catch the last few minutes of @LostGettysburgAddress 's Sacred Trust talk today. I'm looking forward to seeing it on YouTube.

Thanks, Al! Was looking for you at the event, but since there were no VA Tech shirts in the front row, I guessed that you could not make it this year. It was a first-class event and a lot of fun.

They had bad scheduling this year and scheduled the Sacred Trust during the battle walks. I just had to make it there for Professor Guelzo's talk, but it was right back out to the battlefield after his talk. I was able to slip into the back for the very end of your talk just as you were finishing up.

Al: Thanks for posting this. Just returned at 2:30 a.m. this morning after 16 days in Indonesia and had planned to look for the video; but, as usual, you are on it before anyone. Looking forward to seeing you and the rest of the CWT crew next month.

I just watched the "Lost Gettysburg Address" video last night (found it on @cash 's blog). Amazing coincidence--one of my very favorite spots is Wyoming's Wind River Range and the town of Pinedale, WY, where the Lost Address was found!

Mary: Rob Tolley, the man who was responsible for finally identifying and donating Anderson's speech, used to take students and other explorers into that wilderness and traverse glaciers. He retired and built his house on the river down the road about 20 miles. I spent several days there with him last year. It is a place of incredible beauty and diversity and I am glad you had a chance to experience it, too.
