Trivia Game # 52 - Week 4


Here are the questions for Week 4 of Game #52:

1. A Colonel, he was passed over for promotion to permanent command of the Stonewall Brigade in favor of a Major. Name him (the Colonel).

2. It was variously a racing schooner, a slave ship, a gunboat, and a hospital ship. What was it’s name?

3. This “fire-eater”, who while a congressman engaged in a brawl on the House floor, was mortally wounded at Cold Harbor. Name him.

4. What Confederate cabinet member was born in a “duchy"?

5. This medicine, which contained a high level of a toxic heavy metal, was commonly prescribed during the war for a variety of maladies. What was it called?
