Last sample question Post your answer by 6pm (eastern) on Wednesday, as I am leaving town for a couple weeks, and will be 'unconnected'.
This is a kind of a 'throw away' follow-up to our last question.
As we may have learned from our diligent research (!) for last week's question, Grant used several different horses during the war. One of these was named Jeff Davis.
- What other war horse, originally named Jeff Davis, was renamed by it's new owner, also a general? Give the new name of the horse and the name of the general.
'Extra Credit' - What famous figure from the Civil War era, at one time owned a dog with the same name (tho a different spelling) as the horse in the question above?
Hope you will all be ready on July 14 (normal time) for the start of our new game - see you then!
