Default Trivia Game # 44 - Week 2

Well, I didn’t slip anything past anybody last week. Let’s see how you all do with these.

Here are the questions for Week 2 of Game # 44.

6. What Shenandoah Valley town changed hands between Union and Confederate control more than 70 times during the Civil War?

7. By what other name was the “Petersburg Express” known?

8. What kind of weapon was manufactured for the Confederacy by a firm called the Nashville Plow Works?

9. P.G.T. Beauregard graduated second in the West Point class of 1838. What Union general who fought against Beauregard at the 1st Battle of Bull Run (Manassas) was 23rd (smack in the middle of the 45 who graduated) in that class?

10. (Two point question) Point Lookout was located at the junction of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. What sort of installation did the Federals establish there during the latter stages of the Civil War?

Answers to the questions for Week 2 will be due by 6 PM EST Saturday, January 20.

Good luck!
