Default Trivia Game # 43 - Week 1

Time to begin a new game. New players are welcome to join at any time, but the first week of any game is always an especially good time to start.

Here are the questions for Week 1 of Game # 43.

1. What future major general entered West Point at age 15 and graduated second in his class in 1846?

2. By what other name was the railroad locomotive “Old No. 3” known?

3. In what capacity did Abraham Lincoln’s eldest son serve Presidents Garfield and Arthur?

4. What U.S. Senator from Ohio had an older brother who was one of Grant’s best generals?

5. (Two point question) The death in 1862 of what former U.S. President was not officially mourned in Washington?

Rules for Game # 43 will be basically the same as those for Game # 42.

Answers to the questions for Week 1 will be due by 6 PM EST on Saturday, November 11.

Good luck!
