After the fourth week of play in Game #40, we have a really tight race in the Second Division, with three players tied for first and a fourth only one point behind.

Here are the answers to the questions for Week 4.

16. Blue. Many of Hill’s men replaced their own worn-out clothing with Union uniforms captured at Harpers Ferry on the way to Sharpsburg.

17. Robert E. Lee was born at Stratford Hall, which lies only a short distance from the birthplace of George Washington.

18. George McClellan. Prior to the war, Burnside had served as treasurer of the Illinois Central Railroad under McClellan – whom Burnside eventually replaced as commander of the Army of the Potomac. (I don't know whether Burnside ever worked for Oliver Winchester, but I don't believe Winchester can be considered a prominent Union military figure.)

19. McCaw served as head of Chimborazo Hospital, the largest military hospital in Richmond.

20. The dispatch boat was the yacht America, which had won the America’s Cup in 1851. It was later raised and repaired by the U.S. Navy and, in 1870, successfully defended the Cup. (Note that in 1851, the sponsoring organization originally named the prize for the amount of money they paid for it - which various sources list as a Hundred Guineas, a Hundred Pounds, or a Hundred Sovereigns. I accepted any of those answers, as well as "America's Cup," since it subsequently became known by that name in honor of the yacht that had won it on those two widely separated occasions. However, I am not aware that it was ever called the Queen's Cup.)

The scores at the end of Week 4:

FIRST DIVISION

Robert B. Condon 22
SamGrant 17

SECOND DIVISION

Default correction.......

I have two resources that says "Queens cup" as one of a few correct answer.

A second is a book called "Civil War Curiosities" by Webb Garrison"
Chapter 16 (Ships, Seas and Rivers) Page 168..... Sixth paragraph. It says......

"The America's cup, perhaps the most famous world yachting championship, is named for the America which gained fame in 1851 by taking the "Queen's Cup".A decade after her victory............."

Rad2duhbone53 has provided a source supporting his contention that, in addition to being known by various monetary values, that which would eventually become known as the America's Cup was also referred to as the Queen's Cup. (It's a good thing America won the Cup twice, so that there could be some sort of general agreement on what to call the thing.)

With the additional two points for that correct answer, Rad has now vaulted into the lead in the Second Division.

The revised scores at the end of Week 4:

FIRST DIVISION

Robert B. Condon 22
SamGrant 17

SECOND DIVISION

Rad2duhbone53 24
