SamGrant and bgl1952 each have perfect scores of 18 points halfway through the game, with Sarladaise right behind at 17 points.

Here are the answers to the questions for Week 3:

11. The last Confederate general to surrender was Stand Watie.

12. John Wilkes Booth, although not an official member of the unit, talked his way into joining the Richmond Grays temporarily in order to be present at the execution of John Brown. Of course, Booth was obviously also present at Lincoln's assassination.

13. Confederate general Milledge Luke Bonham's brother, James Butler Bonham, was an officer at the Alamo.

14. Lincoln and his family often stayed at the Washington Soldier's Home, also known as Anderson Cottage, during the summer.

15. The site of the Confederate Naval Academy was the CSS Patrick Henry.

The scores at the end of Week 3:

FIRST DIVISION

SamGrant 18

SECOND DIVISION

bgl1952 18
Sarladaise 17
Miss Markie 15
Texaswildcat 8
ewc 5
NBForrest 5
Traveller 4
