Here are the answers to the questions for Week 4.

16. The spy with whom Grant took tea was Elizabeth (Crazy Bet) Van Lew.

17. Second Lt. Thomas W. Custer (George’s brother) was awarded two Congressional Medals of Honor.

18. Col. David Ireland (who, despite his name, was born in Scotland) commanded the 137th NY.

19. The oldest Confederate general at Gettysburg was William (Extra Billy) Smith, born Sept. 6, 1797, who had served as Governor of Virginia during the Mexican War and would return to that post once again in 1864. (Isaac Trimble was born in 1802. Jubal Early, born in 1816, was a young whippersnapper by comparison.)

20. The mother superior had once been the teacher of Sherman’s daughter, Minnie, in Ohio before the War.

It's a little less crowded at the top of the scoreboard this week, but we still have three First Division and two Second Division players with perfect scores of 24 points through the first four weeks.
