The correct answers for Week 6 (which most of you got, anyway):

26. (C) the Macon & Western

27. Edwin Stanton, Lincoln’s Secretary of War and Buchanan’s Attorney General

28. Grover Cleveland (Arthur served in the New York Militia, which counts as military service)

29. J.E.B. Stuart

30. the emancipation of slaves

Congratulations to CindyScoops and RaggedRebel, who shared the championship in the First Division, and to Bill_Torrens, Robert B. Condon, and SamGrant, who shared the championship in the Second Division for this game, all with perfect scores. Since, according to my recollection, this is the second time Bill and Sam have achieved perfect scores, they will be promoted to the First Division.

The final scores for Game # 34:

FIRST DIVISION

CindyScoops 36
RggedRebel 36

SECOND DIVISION

Bill_Torrens 36
Robert B. Condon 36
SamGrant 36
Sockknitter 34
ewc 28
Texaswildcat 27
Sarladaise 18
RivrRat 17
Traveller 17
FSPowers 14
