Default Trivia Game # 34 - Week 4

Here are the questions for the fourth week of Game # 34.

16. What personal service did Leonidas Polk perform for John Bell Hood at Dalton, GA late on the evening of May 11, 1864?

17. On Nov. 21, 1864, Lincoln wrote a famous letter to Mrs. Lydia Bixby, consoling her on the death of her five sons; however, the reports on which he based his letter were inaccurate. How many of Mrs. Bixby’s sons were actually killed during the Civil War?

18. What Civil War general is buried at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello?

19. What were chevaux-des-frises?

20. (Two-point question) Who was the only Cabinet officer appointed during Lincoln’s second term?

Answers to the questions for Week 4 will be due by 6 PM on Saturday, October 22.

Good luck!
