I also received this message today from Frank Morreale:

"...The answer to September 6 is Article 9: The importation of negroes of the African race from any foreign country other than the slaveholding States or Territories of the United States of America, is hereby forbidden..."

Corporal

(Each gun was under the command of a Sgt. with two Corporals. One was the Gunner and the other was in charge of the Caisson.)

Have you checked out the Chat and Community Calendar lately? We've been updating it for two months, check it out after you play.

Second Chance Saturday is here. Everyone can answer question one for one point. Anyone below the "2 point line" can earn 2 extra points if they answer both questions correctly.

1) Ever wonder why so many U.S. warships of the Civil War era bore American Indian names? A ship builder is largely responsible. When he agreed to supervise the construction of twenty ironclads, he let contracts in with a special clause stipulating that each vessel should be given an Indian name. Name this man.

2) Bonus: What border state was declared neutral by the state's pro-Southern governor?

Here are the scores after the last question:

27 RaggedRebel *
27 SgtAbj *
27 Crowbar *
----------------- 2 point line
25 ConnYankee *
19 SkirmishGirl
18 GreyGhost
08 Hoosier
07 Bandit
