WELCOME to our trivia game Arnold! We are always glad to have new players.

I have a few messages for everyone... My wife wants to remind you that when you've finished with trivia for the day you should stop over at the Campfire Chat and Join the conversation:
http://civilwartalk.com/cwt_main/bbs...html?994206333

Also, you may have noticed that I have been visiting a few other message boards around the internet and posting our trivia questions. I just wanted to let you know that it's not a permanent thing, just promotional.

I know that I had more to tell you, but I cannot think of anything else at the moment....

Here is your question of the day:

What rank was the commander of a division?

You have till tomorrow morning to answer this question. The correct answer to this question will be posted at that time.

Here are the scores after the last question:

24 SgtAbj *
22 RaggedRebel *
18 BelleTraveler *
16 Crowbar *
15 ConnYankee *
05 Gwagner
02 Ray
01 Arnold *

* Answered Yesterday's Question Correctly...

PS: This trivia game is open to new players, you may join at any time. To register to play, please click the "User Profile" button in the toolbar below, and then choose "Instant Registration". Follow the prompts and you when you finish you will be able to post your answer. Thanks!

In the Union army, a division was commanded by a brigadier or major general. In the Confederate army, with rare exception, a division was commanded by a major general.
