I'm going to be doing a little traveling today, so I'll post the questions for Week 5 early. You may still post answers to the questions for Week 4 up until 6 PM EST today. I will score those answers after I get back, either later tonight or some time tomorrow.

Here are the questions for Week 5.

21. What general's last words were, "Let us cross over the river and rest under the shade of the trees?"

22. Who invented the Whitworth rifled cannon? (No fair just answering "Whitworth" - you need to give me his first name, last name, and title.)

23. When General William Bate was wounded at Shiloh, doctors insisted on amputating his left leg. How did Bate respond?

24. What innovative item arrived in Charleston on August 15, 1863?

25. (2 point question) What medal was given to Jefferson Davis at the Texas State Fair in 1875?

Answers to the questions for Week 5 are due by 6 PM EST on Saturday, Dec. 11.

Good luck!
