Gen. of Volunteers, advance on Corinth, commanded the Dist. of Memphis, commanded 4th Divn/XVI Corps in Atlanta campaign, commanded minor posts in the South, commanded 1st Divn/XIII Corps in Mobile campaign.
Brevet Promotions Maj. Gen. U.S.V. March 26 1865.
