Pre-War Profession Graduated West Point 1814, engineering duty in War of 1812, garrison artillery duty, Seminole war, resigned 1836, farmer, banker, mayor.
War Service September 1861 appointed Brig. Gen. of Volunteers, guarded railroads, April 1862 resigned.
Post War Career Farmer.
