Died June 1 1884, New York NY
Pre-War Profession Graduated West Point 1842, Mexican War, 1954 resigned from US army, businessman.
War Service October 1861 Maj. Gen., commanded defences of New Orleans, commanded a corps at Corinth, relieved of command because of his failure at New Orleans, absolved of charges of incompetence by a court of inquiry but given no further appointment.
Post War Career Civil engineer.
