JACKSON, Conrad Feger USA


Born September 11 1813, Alsace PA
Died December 13 1862, Fredericksburg VA
Pre-War Profession Militia officer, Mexican War, US Revenue officer, railroad employee.
War Service July 1861 Col. of 38th Pennsylvania (9th Pennsylvania Reserves), Dranesville, Seven Days, July 1862 appointed Brig. Gen. of Volunteers, commanded 3rd Bde/3rd Divn/III Corps at Second Bull Run, commanded 3rd Bde/3rd Divn/I Corps at Fredericksburg (k).
