DAVIES, Thomas Alfred
Born December 3 1809, St Lawrence Cty NY
Died August 19 1899, St Lawrence Cty NY
Pre-War Profession Graduated West Point 1829, frontier duty, resigned 1831, civil engineer, merchant.
War Service May 1861 Col. of 16th New York, First Bull Run, defences of Washington, March 1862 appointed Brig. Gen. of Volunteers, served in the siege of Corinth and the battle there later that year, commanded districts in Kentucky, Missouri and Kansas.
Brevet Promotions Maj. Gen. U.S.V. July 11 1865.
