War Service 1861 Capt. in Columbus Riflemen, Col. of 14th Mississippi, Fort Donelson (s), exchanged August 1862, September 1862 Brig. Gen., Coffeeville, commanded 1st Bde under M L Smith in Vicksburg campaign (c), served in the Dist. of Mobile.
Notes Death followed a fall from a horse
