Default WTB used 3 bander

I am looking for a used 3 band Enfield or Springfield for my nephew to use as a reenactor musket. He won't need it till this summer so I am not in a hurry

I am not going to bother with getting my nephew a musket. With the way he returned my Springfield to me a few weeks ago, he can go find his own musket.

It's how the kids learn, Mark. You're a part of the process. Honk off the uncle and you don't never again get to borrow his musket. And, on your birthday or Christmas, you will not find that your uncle Mark has given you anything beyond best wishes.

Most of them eventually figure it out.

And a whole lot of learning before you ever again get to borrow Uncle Mark's musket.

Welcome farmboy. I see you've been on for a while and have only a few posts. Join in the fun.

My nephew also lost the tang screw for my musket. It is one of the Dixie Gunworks Springfields that they made in Japon. They don't make them anymore nor are the parts. Noth of the other brands or types of muskets fit in the one that I have. I had to get a tang screw for an armisport and had a gun smith rethread the screw to make it fit. That is why I am not happy with him.
